Although the 3rd S.A.I. was dissolved in February 1918, the name of 5 men of its men fallen in March 1918 are commemorated on Pozieres Memorial.

Missing in action on the 27th March 1918 (at Albert-Dernancourt) - Age 20.

Louis Jean Joseph DU BOIS

Son of the late Johannes Pieter Du Bois and Anna Sophia Du Bois (Source : C.W.G.C.).

Served probably in the Trench Mortar Battery of the Brigade.

Missing in action on the 21st March 1918 (German attack on Gauche Wood and Quentin Redoubt) - Age 25.

Archibald Robert Forbes HARDINGE

Son of Charles Clement and Helen Hardinge, of Dundee, Natal (Source : C.W.G.C.).

Served probably in the Trench Mortar Battery of the Brigade.

Killed in action on the 27th March 1918 (at Albert-Dernancourt)  - Age 18.

Son of James and Lenna Laing. Husband of Carrie Aretha Rouline Natalie Laing, of Queen's Rd, Sea Point, Cape Town (Source : C.W.G.C.).

Served probably in the Trench Mortar Battery of the Brigade.

Died of wounds on the 31st March 1918 - Age 35.
