Delville Wood, as the supreme symbol of South Africa's Sacrifice and Courage, occupied an eminent place in the country's military history. In July 1916, the 1st South African Infantry Brigade carried out one of the highest feat of arms of the Great War.
To all South Africans who fell in the various conflicts of the 20th Century this website is dedicated as a tribute.
VACANT POSITION : ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK
The South African National Memorial in Delville Wood is seeking the service of qualified professionals, to occupy a full-time position of Assistant Administrative Clerk.
Provide secretarial and administrative services to management, Purchasing, control of stock and inventories, prepare annual estimates of expenditure, maintain budgetary and inventory controls and make recommendations to management, and coordinate activities of the South African National Memorial.
A minimum of 12 years schooling plus 3 years experience as an administration clerk or accountant with administration experience. Candidates must be computer literate.
Proficiency in both English and French.
Flexibility to work after hours and during weekends.
Minimum Salary € 24 975.00. Maximum € 42 943.00 LRP. Level4.

The Museum, the car park and toilets are closed on Mondays.
